Bar crawls for smart people? No, it is not an oxymoron. Cocktails & Curiosities’ self-guided walking tours combine the best of a neighborhood’s history, music, architecture, art, pop culture, shopping and culinary delights with the revelry of a pub crawl.

Whether you’re a tourist or a local, there’s no better way to soak up an area’s culture than to take a break (or two … or four) in a unique watering hole.

C&C tours begin at a local bar where your group can gather and start the day with a fortifying beverage. Then you head out into the neighborhood on a self-guided tour, stopping at “curiosities” on the way to the next watering hole. Each tour has four cocktail stops within the tour and then ends with a few suggestions for a fifth stop as well. Don’t worry – C & C also suggests food spots where you can fuel up during the tour and at the end of the day.

The many curiosities vary tremendously and offer a good mix of history, insider tips and pop culture. You will be educated and entertained! If anything, the tours will greatly improve your repository of miscellaneous, semi-useless trivia knowledge as well as fun, quirky and intellectual factoids. But most importantly, you will end each tour with an intimate knowledge of a great neighborhood and the libations found therein.

C & C tours are a great way to explore a neighborhood from day into evening. Tours last anywhere from four hours to all day, depending on how leisurely you enjoy your beverages and if you stop to eat, shop, etc. We suggest you relax, enjoy yourself and make it an all day extravaganza.
