"Cocktails and Curiosities New York City walking tours are not only full of cool culture, but also festive," said Christi Scofield, the President & Founder of Icebreaker Entertainment and creator of the Cocktails and Curiosities brand.
The self-guided walking tour app covers a portion of Greenwich Village, starting at the infamous White Horse Tavern. Featuring helpful maps and clever commentary, the tour combines the best of New York history, music, architecture, pop culture and more with stops at popular watering holes along the way.
"Our tongue-in-cheek tagline for Cocktails and Curiosities is 'bar crawls for smart people,'" commented Scofield. "We believe it captures the enjoyable combination of innovative walking tour content with the revelry of a rockin' bar crawl."
The Cocktails and Curiosities app is now available for both the Apple and Android platforms.
The app's features include:
• Offline maps with no Internet connection necessary.
• Easy to follow turn-by-turn instructions.
• Insider tips for bars, restaurants and shopping.
• A solid mix of history and culture as well as movie sites and artist hangouts.
• Over 50 official tour stops making C&C a great way to spend a day in NYC!
Additional New York City walking tour apps will be released in the near future. Scofield says she plans to expand the concept to other cities in the US and abroad.
